Overview:

NEID Global is looking for a creative, personable, and internationally minded staff member to join our growing team! NEID Global is a national network of over 180 internationally oriented donors.  We host 60 plus events a year tailored to create a dynamic safe learning space where our members can learn, inspire, connect and act together to address the worlds big problems.    

 

Position Summary:

 

Working closely with NEID staff, the Intern will provide ongoing administrative and programmatic support across the spectrum of NEID’s operations, assisting the NEID team on overall social media outreach, events, and processes: including programming, research, writing, and website design. While a portion of the work will be administrative in nature, the Intern will be a major player in the organization of NEID’s event planning, branding, and member engagement through our Member Portal through member outreach and video editing. In addition, the Intern will be asked to help us populate and update data in our Salesforce Membership database. Individuals assigned to this position may perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience:

​

• Bachelor’s degree in progress required.

 

Skills, Abilities, Competencies:

​

• Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills required;

• Creative thinker, eager to master new systems and brainstorm innovative design techniques;

• Knowledge of and interest in philanthropy and international development issues;

• Experience with Salesforce and database management a preference;

• The ability to plan, think analytically, pay attention to detail and follow through;

• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Canva, Excel, and PowerPoint;

• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks; and

• Experience with social media content creation and platform management.
