Topic:  Member Sharing - Giving in Haiti

This will be a space for NEID members donating to organizations and supporting causes in Haiti to come together to talk about how they feel about their philanthropy in Haiti and ask questions other Haiti-followers may know the answer to. Will you keep giving? What keeps you going? Do you see a light at the end of the tunnel? Do you worry that your giving supports “one-step-forward” while the country’s constantly worsening conditions cause “one-step-back”? Are you amazed and inspired at the intrepid citizens and nonprofit leaders that manage to get anything done at all in the current environment? Has giving in Haiti caused you to ponder your own philanthropic approach, risk tolerance, conception of “impact”?
