At this moment in human history, we will not be able to keep the needle moving forward for basic human equality until men more fully step up as partners and allies. In a world where online misogyny is on the rise alongside authoritarian political leaders who exhibit patriarchal masculinities, more needs to be done to mainstream gender equality with men and women working side by side.
