Join us this year in our hubs
Our theme this year is “Better Together,” because we recognize the importance of community and connection during this precarious historic moment. We are also eager to celebrate and strengthen global philanthropy and demonstrate the value of the NEID community.

All three fundraising events – tailored to each city – will help members get to know each other and celebrate and strengthen global partnerships around the world. They include:

An evening reception for 70 donors and funders in New York City on May 28 at Bazaar Bar at the Ritz, one of Chef Jose Andres’ signature restaurants. A member of his foundation staff will share about his Longer Tables Fund, an exciting new philanthropy venture focused on humanitarian relief and long-term food security in climate-vulnerable settings.

A free-flowing dinner for 150 plus donors, funders, advisors and friends in Boston on June 3 at the Vermillion restaurant in the Financial District. Rather than a formal program, the event will encourage guests to engage in interactive activities and conversation to build community and get to know each other better.

A dinner for 40 donors and funders in San Francisco on June 9 at La Mar Cocina Peruana on the Embarcadero. Julie Parker Benello, Co-Executive Producer of Academy-Award Nominee, Cutting Through Rocks, will discuss the role of philanthropy in supporting documentaries to engender dialogue about important issues. The film follows an Iranian midwife elected as a council member in a deeply conservative Iranian village. ​​
Join us for an evening of solidarity and fun as we explore each other's philanthropy, find more ways to connect and collectively work to support the many leaders and organizations globally doing vital work to address the world's big problems.

Performances
Join Four Time Grammy Award Winner Angélique Kidjo as she opens our 2021 Gala with her song "Malaika" bringing us together in community across the globe. Then listen as K'naan, an incredible Somali-Canadian poet, rapper, songwriter, singer & instrumentalist, shares his story through song.
