Topic:  Investments in livelihoods for young people, women

Of course any successful country must provide economic opportunities to enable people to generate income and be self-sufficient, but in Haiti, the need to offer some path and hope to young people is urgent in the face of rampant gang recruitment and weak economy.

We will examine the landscape for youth livelihoods in Haiti today, discuss successful and promising efforts to offer young people vocational training and access to viable jobs and income-generating opportunities, and explore what it would take to scale these efforts.
